Kittens

Kitten season is coming and our foster families will have their hands full feeding, cleaning, and socializing little fur balls like Emma(right) and Chad. Emma came to us without any littermates. Chad was the tiniest kitten in a litter of six, and his brothers and sisters were all adopted when he was still too little to go to a new home. Emma and Chad's foster mom put the two together and they quickly became best friends. (Emma is also the kitten in the photo at the top of the page.)

We always recommend that kittens be adopted in pairs so they can form friendships like Chad and Emma's. Adopting two kittens provides each with a playmate and lifelong companion, & detracts unwanted attention from any older cats you have . . . most of the time. In addition, when you adopt two kittens, you're doing twice the good! Please click here to view photos of adoptable kittens.

If you're interested in fostering, please contact our Kitten Foster Coordinator. If you want to know what's involved in fostering, click here to read the excellent "Kitten Care Handbook" published by Kitten Rescue of Los Angeles.
